Canonical Status
The canonical status of the Confraternity of Penitents is a private association of the faithful with commendation. Our Handbook, which contains our Rule and Constitutions as well as all formation lessons, ceremonies, and other information, has received the nihil obstat and imprimatur of the Bishop of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.
